24 hr countdown

24 hr countdown to Dr's appt tomorrow at 6pm.

So so anxious! I haven't been sleeping well last few nights and being back at work means no napping... And being caffeine free on no sleep is hard. I had to resort to a tea today.

I am probably 5W3D tomorrow (adjusting for later ovulation)- what was the earliest people heard a heartbeat?

I have read some people saying they heard a heart beat at 5 wks... and others saying they just saw a sac....

24 hrs... 24hrs... 24hrs...

Yay! Breathe deep. I hope your 24 hours pass quickly, or that you can stay sufficiently distracted! I know the feeling. And GOOD LUCK!

My fetal heart monitor is called Angelsounds Fetal Doppler and I got mine on amazon. I always have to remind myself not to freak out if I don't find something. It is still really difficult to find at this point and last night I almost gave up before hearing it really quietly overlapping my own heart rate. Baby must not have been in the best position. Let us know if you get one and I hope you will be able to use it soon!! Oh, and I just use water or lotion - I didn't buy the special gel.

Sorry to drop by so randomly...

Hi, I'm Kelli and I saw your link on Mel's blog and Jill's blog, so I dropped by. Hope you'll forgive me for barging in so rudely. :)

I thought I'd answer your question about fetal heartbeat fromy my own experience. I saw/heard the heartbeat at 5W2D even though my little one was still so tiny that (s)he was only considered a "fetal pole" and I didn't really feel pregnant either. No sore boobs, no nausea, not a classic symptom to be found until a few weeks later.

I hope that it helps put your mind at ease a bit...and that your doc's appointment is nothing but stellar. Stop by sometime if you'd like (http://braziers.blogspot.com)...I'll be following along with you as well. All the best to you!

thanks both for the encouragement... it's been a busy day at the office so it's passing by fast but I still check my watch every hour...

My appt is at 6pm this evening. Husb has made reservations for my favorite dinner afterwards regardless of the news.

Kelli- thanks for sharing that you heard a heartbeat- I'm really hoping for that today. I know it'll my mind somewhat at ease. And I'll definitely follow you as well.

YAY ladies- really happy to meet a community to you who've gotten good news after trying for so long.

big hug.

It's almost time for that appt! I can't wait to hear how it goes!

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving some love. I am temping and have been for 2 cycles now. My temp has remained above the coverline except for one day probably around implantation. I used a digital EPT and just learned from another fellow ttc'er that digital HPTs aren't good b/c they tend to only give a positive if it's a strong positive ... so I guess I'm going back out to buy a dye test. So many variables, so many things to worry about - it's driving me insane!
